On the back it says that "a splendid time is guaranteed for all" I definitely agree because sgt pepper's is such a great record. NOTE: This is not to be confused with the 1995 Reissue of Sgt Pepper. This version has a purple label, Capitol Logo at top, but no Parlophone or Apple Records on the label. Has the same catalog # as the CD (#46442), the first time this album was issued a new catalog # in the US. Picture yourself in a boat on a river. With tangerine trees and marmalade skies. Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly. A girl with kaleidoscope eyes. Cellophane flowers of yellow and green Fans will be able to choose from four separate offerings, including a newly remixed single disc of the original album, a two-LP vinyl set with the album and a second disc of collected outtakes in I see that my Aussie Sgt Peppers is a first pressing stereo, with the halftone red "psychedelic" inner sleeve, insert, "Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd. Patents pending", and "Stereo" label stuck in the right hand corner. The pressing is Aussie but has the matrix numbers: Side 1: YEX 637-1; Side 2: YEX 638-1. For a modern pressing. What I like about this version is that A. It sounds better than the cd that it was sourced from (24/44.1) due to the mastering of the vinyl. B) The viny is dead quiet and flat. C) The Bass guitar is absolutely pounding D) They removed all the "sss" that are so prevalent on the original releases. That is good and bad. Pepper had it in the top left-hand corner. What you may have been an earlier pressing were EMI were using up old cover stock, for new pressings. The remastered DMM vinyl should have D at the end of the run-out matrix. The Beatles – Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1988, Gatefold with insert., Vinyl) - Discogs. This week, The Vinyl Geek compares three *stereo vinyl pressings of The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band including the 50th Anniversary edition First in line, with another guy behind me. Dropped my stuff on the counter, and happened to hear that the guy behind me had about 12 albums he was selling. He said that most of them were Beatles Mono. I engaged in conversation and sure enough he had seven 2014 mono, including MMT , WA, & Sgt. Pepper included. Rlsn5fS.
